    • “Wind Song reflects our passion, drive and commitment to both our business and life values. The land and the natural environment have a huge impact on the guests’ experiences allowing many to reflect that “they would like to move from “the fast lane” and slow down and reconnect with the land.”

      Wonderful Hosts

    • We arrived at dusk and for brits found it exciting driving down the long drive with wallabies jumping out from all directions! Lovely location and very peaceful. Our host was very friendly and the room was lovey and it was nice to have a private area to sit for breakfast. Breakfast was great and there was plently of it. In the morning we had a walk round the gardens and even had a go in the “labyrinth”! The only slight problem we had was that on arrival it was dark and we found it a little difficult to locate the correct door (needs a small sign on the door).
Thank you for a great stay.

      Great Little Gem

    • We needed a nights accommodation on the east coast of Tasmania before heading back to Hobart.
Found this place on a website and hoped it would be Ok.
We left Swansea and were heading for Triabunna when we still had 18km to go and we saw the sign on the main road for Windsong.
We travelled 4km off the main road and came to this rather large house with a lovely garden surrounding the building.
We were shown into this cute front room that was to be our kitchen dining room, complete with breakfast ready for the next morning.Perfect for a couple but we had 2 small children and we didn’t find it too small.
Walked into the room that was the master bedroom, done in pale blues and white, very pretty and cottage style.A good size bathroom beside that and a sitting room next with a lounge and bed for 1 child. The other bed was in our room which wasn’t a problem.
My daughter was very excited to see 3 boxes full of toys and lots of children’s books too. There was a TV but only 2 channels to view.Lots of books were to be found in the large bookshelf.
It was a cold summer in Tassie for us and lovely to use the heater in the bathroom attached to the lighting. The best towels I have ever come across, super fluffy and soft.Lovely to find a super duper hair dryer in the cupboard too.The beds were comfy and warm doonas for us cold bunnies from NQ.The brekky was superb, fresh bread(even enough to make some sandwiches for the days travel)boxes of cereal, muesli, fruit, juice, poppers for the kids, yummy jam.We couldn’t ask for anything more for our quick stay.Tom and Jane showed us the larger accommodation called the Lodge and would be perfect for the larger family or group of people, lovely loungeroom with a fireplace I think i saw and bay window from the main bedroom, large bathroom and self contained kitchen.
You can even dine with them if you give advanced notice, dinner will be cooked for you, what a way to spend a night or several more.
very friendly horse in a paddock down the road we called over and patted,my daughter wanted to have a ride.

      Wonderful Crisp White Sheets

    • After spending a busy Christmas with family and 2 very busy days in Hobart enjoying the “Taste of Tasmania” we arrived at Wind Song expecting to drop our things off and head to Swansea or even Coles Bay. Well that didn’t happen once we got there and saw the bed and the tables outside looking a lovely country setting we just sat and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon. Then it was dinner time and wasn’t that great soup followed by a roast and finished off with fresh raspberries from the garden and homemade ice cream!!!! Then sleep in a wonderfully comfortable bed ! Tom and Jane were wonderful hosts and even though we were there for only 1 night it was rejuvenating and gave us the strength to walk Wine Glass Bay…

      “Relaxing just what was needed…”

    • I found Wind Song after much research on various websites including Trip Advisor. We were short on time and wanted to visit Freycinet but also be close to Hobart airport for our flight home and we couldn’t have chosen better. The location was just what we wanted, with Little Swanport being situated approximately half way between Freycinet National Pk and Hobart City.

Wind Song B&B, is in a quiet country setting with fantastic home cooked meals. The continental breakfast is included and offers a variety of cereals, bread and butter, jam, juice, tea and coffee. We also chose the $30pp dinner both nights and couldn’t have been happier. There was plenty of food for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and both meals were home cooked in Janes’ lovely kitchen. We had soup, main meal and dessert and while everything was delicious, we all agreed the desserts were amazing. Jane is such a fantastic cook and it was a lovely luxury to have our meals served to our beautifully set table in our apartment too.

There are many wonderful small touches at Wind Song, including crisp white sheets and large thick towels, a huge library of books and movies to suit all tastes as well as fresh flowers in all rooms. The beds and pillows made for a sound sleep and the accommodation is spotlessly clean and I can’t really think of anything that could make this a better place to stay. It is 5km from the main road on a large property and Tom & Jane make you feel like family. We will definitely be spreading the word and hope to return again soon.

Room Tip: Pay the extra $30pp and have the delicious home cooked dinner, you won’t regret it!
